Ezekiel 30 - Praying God's Word

Meditate on verses 1-3.

 

The Word of the LORD came again to me

saying, "Son of man, prophesy and say,

 'Thus says the LORD GOD, "Wail, 'Alas for

 the day!’”  For the day is near; even the

day of the LORD is near; it will be a day of

clouds, a time of doom for the nations.’”

 

Observe what God declares He will do, so people will know He is the LORD.

 

·      “The pride of her power will come down.  They will be desolate in the midst of the desolated lands.  And they will know that I AM the LORD” (vs. 6-8).

·      “I will destroy the idols.  I will pour out my wrath on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt.  And they will know that I AM the LORD” (vs. 13, 15, 19).

·      “I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand, and I will break the arms of Pharaoh; the arms of Pharaoh will fail.  Then they will know that I AM the LORD” (vs. 24-25).

·      “When I scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them among the land, then they will know that I AM the LORD” (v. 26).

 

What is God doing in your day, so you know He is the LORD?  He wants people to know He is LORD before the coming of that day of doom for those who do not know Him.  As a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7), pay attention to the LORD and pray Ezekiel 30:19 over those who need to know Him.

 

“LORD, You will execute judgment on Egypt

and all who do not know You.

Please let __________ know You are

the LORD before it is too late.

In Your name, Jesus~”
