Please read Ezekiel 13.

Meditate on verses 3 and 5.
Thus says the LORD GOD, "Woe to the foolish
prophets who are following their own
spirit and have seen nothing. You have not
gone up into the breaches, nor did you
build the wall around the house of Israel to
stand in the battle on the day of the LORD.”
Ezekiel prophesied 600 years before Peter wrote his letter to believers, but their words are interestingly similar and accurately describe false teachers today.
But false prophets also arose among the
people, just as there will also be false
teachers among you, who will secretly
introduce destructive heresies, even
denying the Master who bought them, bringing
swift destruction upon themselves.
—2 Peter 2:1
Be mindful, there have always been false teachers, inspired by Satan, the father of lies, who whispers, “Did God really say…?”; he continues to plant the same seed of doubt he planted in Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago (Genesis 3:1). A teacher is false if they teach contrary to God’s Word, filtering it through a sieve, choosing what they prefer not to apply to their lives and those of their followers. False teachers—their eternal judgment and destruction awaits them on the day of the LORD (2 Peter 2:3-9).
Let God’s Word fill the breaches in your life and the lives of those you love; let it build strong walls around your life, so the lies of Satan cannot destroy you (v. 5).
As a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7), pray Ezekiel 13:22 over yourself to speak God’s Words accurately.
“LORD, do not let me dishearten the righteous
with falsehood when You did not cause them grief.
Help me encourage the wicked to turn from
their wicked way and preserve their life.
In Your name, Jesus~”
