Please read Daniel 4.

Meditate on verses 30-31.
The king reflected and said, “Is this not
Babylon the great, which I myself have
built as a royal residence by the might
of my power and for the glory of my majesty?”
While the word was in the king's mouth, a
voice came from heaven, saying,
“King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is declared:
sovereignty has been removed from you.”
Have you ever been full of yourself, content and prosperous, believing Satan’s lies that you are an accomplished, self-made individual? King Nebuchadnezzar was in that disastrously deluded place, when God spoke into his pride, sentencing him to seven years as a wild, grass-grazing beast (vs. 32-33). Looking up to heaven and coming to his senses, Nebuchadnezzar finally honored the LORD Most High (v. 34). How could life have been different if he turned from his pride years earlier?
Learn from Nebuchadnezzar’s arrogant mistakes, humbly asking God to reveal pride in your life.
Pray Daniel 4:34-37 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, raise __________ and my eyes to heaven and let
reason return to us. I bless You, Most High, and praise
and honor You who lives forever, for Your
dominion is an everlasting dominion, and
Your kingdom endures from generation
to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth
are accounted as nothing, but You do according to Your
will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants
of earth. No one can ward off Your hand
or say to You, ‘What have You done?’
I praise, exalt, and honor You, King of
heaven, for all Your works are true
and Your ways just, and You are able to
humble those who walk in pride.
I come humbly in Your name, Jesus~”
