Psalm 139 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 139.

Meditate on verse 1.

O LORD, You have searched me and known me.

The LORD is intimately acquainted with you. Let that thought soak  in— the LORD intimately knows everything about you. He knows when you sit down and when you get up (v. 2). He knows and understands what you are thinking (v. 2). He knows what you are going to say before you say it (v. 4). He intricately put every cell of your body together, wonderfully the way He wanted you (vs. 13-15). He knew the exact day of your birth, and He knows the exact day of your death; everyday of your life has already been written in His book (v. 16). These are amazing truths about you from God’s Word! Knowing these truths, you can walk in confident, constant intimacy with your Creator—incredible!
As you continue in intimate conversation with God, say these words from Psalm 139:17-18 and 23-24 to Him as His faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“How precious are Your thoughts to me, O God!
 How vast is the sum of them!
 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
 try me and know my anxious thoughts;
and see if there be any hurtful way in me
 and lead me in the everlasting way.
In Your name, Jesus~”
