Psalm 133 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 133.

Meditate on verse 1.

How good and pleasant it is for brothers
 to dwell together in unity!

As the psalmist nears the summit, he finds himself at the top with others who love the LORD. These precious ones ascended from the world’s pit to the glorious heights attained by walking with God. This sacred journey cannot be made without the anointing of God, for it is impossible to climb to such a holy elevation without the favor of the LORD. The prize awaiting all who complete the ascent is the blessing of God—His eternal life.
Praise and petition God with the fourteenth Song of Ascents, Psalm 133, as His faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is
for brothers to dwell together in unity!
LORD, please let __________ and me
 dwell together in unity.
Anoint us, LORD, with Your Spirit.
Let our unity be like the precious oil upon the head,
coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard,
coming down upon the edge of his robes.
Let our unity be like the dew of Hermon,
coming down upon the mountains of Zion,
 positively affecting others.
LORD, command for us the blessing—life forever.
In Your name, Jesus~”
