Psalm 138 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 138.

Meditate on and memorize verse 8a to pray the moment you need it.

The LORD will accomplish what concerns me…

This is my go-to verse when I need desperate prayers for desperate situations. There are days those are the only words my faint heart and quivering lips can form:

“The LORD will accomplish what concerns me;
 the LORD will accomplish what concerns me;
the LORD will accomplish what concerns me…”

I have said them literally hundreds of times—“The LORD will accomplish what concerns me….” And, He absolutely does accomplish what concerns me. “Thank You, LORD!”
Pray Psalm 138 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, I give thanks to You with all my heart;
 I sing praises to You before the gods.
I bow down toward Your holy temple
and give thanks to Your name
for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have
 magnified Your Word according to all Your name.
LORD, I am calling to You on behalf of _________ and me.
Please answer me.  Make us bold with strength in our souls.
May all the kings of the earth give thanks to You, O LORD,
 when they hear the Words of Your mouth.
Let them sing of Your ways,
for great is Your glory, LORD.
LORD, You are exalted, yet You regard the lowly,
 but the haughty You know from afar.
Do not let us be haughty, LORD.
We walk in the midst of trouble; please revive us.
Stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of our enemies;
let Your right hand save us.
LORD, You will accomplish what concerns me;
 Your lovingkindness, O LORD,
is everlasting; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
For the sake of Your name, Jesus~”
