Psalm 119:41-48 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 119:41-48.

Meditate on and memorize verse 45.

And I will walk at liberty, for I seek Your precepts.

Why was the psalmist able to walk in freedom?  Because he sought to follow the LORD’s commandments.  Keeping the law of the LORD is the blessed secret to attaining true freedom. The lie of Satan and the world is you should do whatever you want, whatever feels right to you.  God’s Word calls that slavery to sin (Romans 6).  In Christ, you are no longer a slave to sin; you are a child of God with the freedom to walk with God—Amazing!

Thank the LORD for the gift of walking at liberty with Him and pray Psalm 119:41-48 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“O LORD, may Your lovingkindness also come to _________ and me,
Your salvation according to Your Word.  Let us have an
answer for him who reproaches us, for we trust in Your Word.
Do not take the Word of Truth utterly out of our mouths,
for we wait for Your ordinances.  We will keep Your law continually,
forever and ever.  And we will walk at liberty, for we seek Your
precepts.  We will also speak of Your testimonies before kings
and shall not be ashamed.  We shall delight in Your commandments,
which we love.  We shall lift up our hands to Your commandments,
which we love; and we will meditate on Your statutes.
In Your name, Jesus~”
