Meditate on this phrase from verse 2.
The truth of the LORD is everlasting.
People
are quick to meditate on and claim the first phrase of verse 2—His
lovingkindness is great toward us.
Most
people want God’s lovingkindness—they want
His blessings. But sadly, many have believed Satan’s lie which says that truth is relative, and truth is what is true for you; therefore, there is no absolute truth. However—the truth of the LORD is everlasting!
Speak
the truth of the LORD, meditate on it, memorize it, and tell it to everyone you
know. Commit your life to studying God’s Word, the Bible, so you can actually
know the everlasting truth of God, living it every moment of your life.
Pray
Psalm 117 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful,
prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, I look forward to the day
when all nations praise You
and all peoples laud You.
I praise You and laud You,
for Your lovingkindness
is great toward __________ and me,
and Your truth is everlasting.
Praise the LORD!”
