Psalm 119 is an amazing psalm! Its 176 verses are divided into 22 sections or stanzas, one for each of the 22 characters that make up the Hebrew alphabet. Each stanza contains eight verses, and in the Hebrew text (the language of the Old Testament), the eight verses of each stanza begin with the same Hebrew letter as that stanza.
You will spend the next 22 days walking slowly through this Scripture. As you read, notice the repeated words: law, testimonies, statutes, ordinances, precepts, and word, which all refer to the Bible. The LORD makes it clear through the psalmist, that to truly know and walk with Him, you must know His Word.
We will suggest a verse for you to meditate on and memorize each day. Feel free to choose any of the eight verses to memorize, so you can walk more closely with your Creator and LORD. Say your verse over and over all day long – silently and out loud. Speak it to the people you talk to throughout the day. Pray it over yourself, your loved ones, and the people in the car next to you. God’s Word will change your world.
We pray these 22 days with be miraculous for you and your family.
Please read Psalm 119:1-8.

Meditate on and memorize verse 1.
How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD.
The psalmist made some important observations in these eight verses. The LORD commands His precepts be kept diligently, blessing those who walk in His ways. The psalmist sincerely wanted to learn God’s righteous judgments, so his ways would be established to keep God’s statutes.
Does your heart’s cry echo that of the psalmist? Are you ready to say, “I shall keep Your statutes” (v. 8)? As you begin this 22-day journey into Psalm 119, ask God to give you His heart for His Word.
Pray Psalm 119:1-8 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, let ________ and me be those who are blessed, whose way is blameless. Help us to walk in Your law, LORD. Let us observe Your testimonies and seek You with all our heart. Let us do no unrighteousness and walk in Your ways. You have ordained Your precepts that we should keep them diligently. Oh, that our ways may be established to keep Your statutes! Then we shall not be ashamed when we look upon all Your commandments. We shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart when we learn Your righteous judgments. We shall keep Your statutes.
Please do not forsake us utterly!
In Your name, Jesus~”
