Psalm 119:113-120 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 119:113-120.

Meditate on and memorize verse 113.

I hate those who are double-minded, but I love Your law.

When you became a Christian, you were given the mind of Christ; therefore, you can think like Jesus (1 Corinthians 2:16).  In Christ, you should not be double-minded, wavering between the world’s opinions and what the Bible says.  You can stand with unwavering confidence on Christ and His Word.

God calls a double-minded person unstable in all his ways (James 1:8).  If you suffer from double-mindedness, submit to God and draw near to Him.  Cleanse your hands and your heart, be grieved by sin—never joyful about it.   Humble yourself before God, keeping His commandments (James 4:7-10; v. 115).

Set your mind on the things of Christ and pray Psalm 119:113-120 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, let _________ and me hate those who are double-minded;
keep us from being double-minded and let us love Your law.
 Be our hiding place and our shield; we wait for Your Word.
Make evildoers depart from us that we may
 observe Your commandments, God.  Sustain us according to Your Word
that we may live; and do not let us be ashamed of our hope.
Uphold us that we may be safe, that we may have regard
for Your statutes continually.  You have rejected all those who wander
 from Your statutes, for their deceitfulness is useless.  You have
removed all the wicked of the earth like dross; therefore, I love
Your testimonies.  My flesh trembles for fear of You,
and I am afraid of Your judgments.
In Your name, Jesus~”
