Ezekiel 47 - Praying God's Word

Please read Ezekiel 47.

Meditate on verse 1a.

Then he brought me back to the door of the house;
 and behold, water was flowing
 from under the threshold of the house.

Imagine this flow of water coming from the temple of the LORD. The farther it goes, the deeper it becomes, deep enough for swimming, bringing life and healing everywhere it flows. Doesn’t this river’s description make you want to dive in and experience its refreshment?
Hear Jesus’ words to a hot and tired woman. As you listen to their conversation, hear Him speak these life-giving words to you.

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him,
 and He would have given you living water."
She said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep;
where then do You get that living water?"
Jesus answered and said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."
—John 4:10-11, 13-14

Jesus is the Living Water that flows through you by the power of the Holy Spirit. As you grow in Christ, the Living Water isn’t merely a trickle (v. 2); it is a deep river bringing life to you and those in your realm of influence.
Pray for Ezekiel 47:9 to be a reality in your life and those you love.

“LORD, let __________ and me live in every place
 where Your river goes.  Make us fresh in You.
As Your river flows from our lives,
 let everything live wherever we go.
Because of You, our Living Water, Jesus~”
