Please read Ezekiel 28.

Meditate on this accusation from verse 2. The LORD is speaking to the leader of Tyre.
“Because your heart is lifted up and
you have said, ‘I am a god; I sit in the seat
of gods in the heart of the seas.’
Yet, you are a man and not God.”
The king of Tyre was a smart, wealthy man who became so prideful he believed he was a god. God said his splendor would be defiled, and he would die at the hands of ruthless strangers (vs. 7, 10). After the LORD pronounced His judgment on the arrogant king, He told Ezekiel to take up a lament (vs. 11-19).
The lamentation speaks to the spiritual force behind this arrogant human king. Notice the many descriptors of Satan within verses 11-19. For example: “You were in Eden, the garden of God” (v. 13). “You were the anointed cherub who covers” (v. 14). “You were internally filled with violence, and you sinned; therefore, I have cast you as profane from the mountain of God” (v. 16).
It is important to learn from the human king of Tyre and the spiritual power behind him, Satan; pride eventually leads you to believe you are god of your own life. The LORD will not let such arrogance go unchecked or unpunished.
Pray for yourself and those you love to be the opposite of the king of Tyre, using the words from Ezekiel 28:2.
“LORD, do not let _________ and my heart be lifted up.
Let us NEVER say or think we are a god
or that we sit in the seat of gods.
Let us never forget we are human and not God.
We cannot make our hearts like Yours, God.
Only You can make our hearts to love and follow You.
Because of You, LORD Jesus Christ~”
