Ezekiel 37 - Praying God's Word

Please read Ezekiel 37.

Meditate on verses 4, 7, and 10.

Again He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones and say to them,
'O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.'”
So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them,
and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

God’s Word is powerful, and when Ezekiel was obedient to speak as the LORD commanded, dry bones were joined together. As the Word of the LORD continued to pour from Ezekiel’s lips, breath entered the bones, bringing them to life and raising them up into a mighty army. The bones represented the whole house of Israel. In the midst of exile and destruction because of sin, they were dried up, hopeless, and completely cut off, just like those old, dry bones (v. 11). God’s Word breathed life and hope into them for what the LORD was doing in their lives.
Thankfully, you have God’s Words recorded in the Bible. You can touch them, read them, hear them, and speak them. They are powerful, bringing your life together and raising you up from the valley of death. Commit to reading God’s Word every day and be faithful to speak His Words so those who feel dried up and disjointed can hear what God wants to miraculously do for them.
Pray Ezekiel 37:14 over those who need God’s Spirit to breathe into their dry and hopeless lives.

“LORD, put Your Spirit within __________ so
they will come to life.  Place them where
You want them.  May they know that
You, the LORD, have spoken and done it.
In Your name, Jesus~”
