John 4 - Praying God's Word

Please read John 4.

Mediate on what the woman said in verse 39b.

“He told me all the things that I have done.”

Jesus encountered a Samaritan woman who had been married five times and was currently living with a man. The woman was amazed Jesus would even talk to her, and as their conversation unfolded, she learned Jesus knew all about her and her sordid past.
Instead of being ashamed Jesus knew all the things she had done, she was freed from her sin. Jesus’ words drew her into a saving, intimate relationship with Him.
Jesus knows everything about you, and He still loves you. He offers you forgiveness and a saving relationship with Him. Let Jesus reveal past and present sins to you. Ask Him to forgive you and release you from bondage to evil. Experience the joy of walking in freedom from iniquity because you are walking in intimacy with Christ.
Pray John 4:10 and 34 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“Jesus, thank You that __________ and I
can know the gift of God and be given
Your Living Water, the Holy Spirit (John 7:38-39).
Give us Your appetite to say,
‘My food is to do the will of Him
who sent me and to accomplish His work.’
In Your name, Jesus~”
