Please read John 15.

Meditate on verses 4-6. Jesus tells you how to know for sure you really are a Christian.
“Abide in Me and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself unless it abides in the vine,
so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
I am the vine; you are the branches;
he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit,
for apart from Me you can do nothing.
If anyone does not abide in Me, he is
thrown away as a branch and dries up;
and they gather them and cast
them into the fire, and they are burned.”
Salvation is through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Proof of your salvation is made evident by the fruit you produce because you abide and remain in Jesus.
Think about your life. Do you abide in the world, or do you abide in Christ? Do you produce fruit in keeping with the ways of the world, or do you produce fruit that proves Jesus lives and works in you?
Prior to Jesus starting this conversation with the eleven, Judas Iscariot made it obvious he did not belong to and abide in Christ. He left the group to do the work of Satan.
Jesus wants you to have the assurance of salvation. Believe in Him; live in Him; be fruitful in Him.
Pray John 15:8 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, may _______ and I bear much fruit,
and so prove to be Your disciples.
For the glory of the Father, in Your name, Jesus~”
