Please read John 19.

Meditate on verse 35.
And he who has seen has testified,
and his testimony is true;
and he knows that he is telling
the truth,
so that you also may believe.
John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, stayed
close to the cross when others fled. John was so close to the cross that he was
an eyewitness to the prophecy fulfillment that not a bone of Christ’s body was
broken during the crucifixion (v. 36).
Contrast Joseph of Arimathea with John.
Joseph was described as a secret disciple of Jesus because he feared the Jews
(v. 38).
With whom do you most identify? Do you readily declare the truth about Jesus, so others may believe,
or do you fear what people might think of you
for speaking about Christ?
Ask the LORD to help you not be afraid and pray John 19:35 over yourself
and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful,
prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, I have seen You in my life.
Help ________ and me testify
about You.
May our testimony be true. Help us tell the truth,
so that others may also believe.
In Your name, Jesus~”
