Matthew 22 - Praying God's Word

Please read Matthew 22.

Meditate on the command in verse 4.

Come to the wedding feast.

This most important command of Christ comes in the form of an invitation:

Come to the wedding feast of the Lamb

Dress:

The righteousness of Christ

God gives us a sneak peak into that glorious wedding feast:

"Hallelujah! For the LORD our God, the

Almighty, reigns.  Let us rejoice and be glad

and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the

Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready."

It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright

and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Then he said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited

to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'"

And he said to me, "These are true words of God."

—Revelation 19:6B-9

The wedding feast Jesus described in Matthew 22 is a reality, and you do not want to miss it, so accept His invitation to come and invite others to join you.

As a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7), pray for people to hear and accept the LORD’s invitation to “come to the wedding feast” (v. 4).

“LORD, I accept Your invitation to

come to Your wedding feast.

LORD, please let ____________ come to

 the wedding feast with me.

In Your name, Jesus~”
