Meditate on verse 28.
In the way of righteousness is life,
and in its pathway, there is no death.
Pray Proverbs 12 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, make ________ and me love discipline and knowledge.
Do not let us be stupid, hating reproof.
Make us good people who obtain Your favor.
Give us a righteous root that will not be moved.
Make _________ an excellent wife, the crown of her husband.
Make us righteous; let our thoughts be just.
Give us upright mouths that deliver us.
Make us righteous; let our house stand.
Let us be praised according to Your insight.
Make us righteous; let us regard the life of our animal.
As we till the land, give us plenty of bread;
let our root of righteousness yield fruit.
Make us righteous; let us escape trouble.
Let us be satisfied with good by the fruit of our words,
and let the deeds of our hands return to us.
Make us wise people, listening to counsel.
Make us prudent, concealing dishonor.
Let us speak truth and tell what is right.
Give us wise tongues that bring healing.
Let our truthful lips be established forever.
Make us joyful counselors of peace.
LORD, please make us righteous and let no harm befall us.
May we deal faithfully and be Your delight.
Give us diligent hands that are able to rule.
Let us speak good words, making hearts glad.
May we be righteous, guiding our neighbors.
Let diligence be our precious possession.
In the way of righteousness is life,
and in its pathway, there is no death.
Keep us in the righteous way.
