Meditate on verses 8-9.
Remember Jesus Christ, risen from
the dead, descendant of David,
according to my Gospel, for which
I suffer hardship even to
imprisonment as a criminal, but
the word of God is not imprisoned.
In the midst of discouragement, it is important to remember.
· Remember Jesus Christ (v. 8).
· Remember He rose from the dead (v. 8).
· Remember God’s Word is not imprisoned (v. 9).
· Remember salvation in Jesus Christ brings eternal glory (v. 10).
· Remember if we die with Christ, we will also live with Christ (v. 11).
· Remember if we endure with Christ, we will reign with Christ (v. 12).
· Remember Jesus remains faithful—He cannot deny Himself (v. 13).
Remember, remember, remember. No matter what is happening to you and those you love, remember who Christ is and who you are in Him. Be encouraged in Christ and His Word.
Pray 2 Timothy 2:1 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, make _________ and me strong in
the grace that is in You, Christ Jesus~”
