1 Timothy 5 - Praying God's Word

Please read 1 Timothy 5.

Meditate on verse 22b.

Keep yourself free from sin.

God’s Word is so practical.  In this part of Paul’s letter to Timothy, specific principles were given for men and women of all ages and in various life situations: married, widowed, leading a church, dealing with sin, and working with others.  Paul even addressed stomach ailments.  God cares about every detail of your life, and He wants you to live the plans and purposes He has for you.

Most of God’s will for your life is contained in the Bible.  Remain faithful to study and live His Word.

Pray 1 Timothy 5:21-22 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, may ______ and I maintain Your principles.

Let us do nothing in a spirit of partiality.

Do not let us share in the sins of others.

Keep us free from sin.

In Your name, Jesus~”
