Meditate on verse 5b.

Who then is willing to consecrate

himself this day to the LORD?

This chapter contains a great prayer for faithful, prayerful watchmen (Isaiah 62:6-7).  Pray 1 Chronicles 29:10-19 over yourself and those you love.

“Blessed are You, O LORD God of ___________ and

me, forever and ever.  Yours, O LORD, is the greatness

and the power and the glory and the victory and the

majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the

earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt

Yourself as head over all.  Both riches and honor

come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is

power and might, and it lies in Your hand to make great

and to strengthen everyone.  Now therefore, our

God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.

But, who are we that we should be able to offer

as generously as this?  For all things come from You, and

from Your hand, we have given to You.  For we are

sojourners before You, and tenants, as all our fathers

were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and our

hope is in You, Jesus.  O LORD our God, all this abundance,

it is from Your hand, and all is Yours. We are Yours—build

us into a house for Your holy name.  Since we know, O

our God, that You try the heart and delight in uprightness,

we, in the integrity of our hearts, willingly offer ourselves; so

now with joy, may Your people make the offering of their lives

willingly to You.  O LORD, the God of my family, preserve this

forever in the intentions of the heart of Your people and direct

our heart to You and give us a perfect heart to keep Your

commandments, Your testimonies and Your statutes,

and to do them all, and to build our lives, for which

 You have made provision—

For the glory of Your name, Jesus~”
