Meditate on verses 2 and 4a.
Great are the works of the LORD;
they are studied by all who delight in them.
He has made His wonders to be remembered.
God loves it when you notice Him, thankfully paying attention to what He is doing in your life. He wants you to observe His creation, marveling at His miraculous ways. He wants you to praise and thank Him with all your heart. Practice doing those things today, noticing what a difference it makes.
Start by praying Psalm 111 as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6- 7).
“Praise the LORD! I give thanks to You, LORD,
with all my heart, in the company of the upright and in the assembly.
Great are Your works! I delight in them, and I will study them.
Splendid and majestic is Your work,
and Your righteousness endures forever.
You have made Your wonders
to be remembered—I will remember them.
You are gracious and compassionate.
You give food to those who fear You.
May ________ and I fear You forever,
for You will remember Your covenant forever.
Make known to us the power of Your works.
You are our heritage.
The works of Your hands are truth and justice.
All Your precepts are sure;
they are upheld forever and ever;
they are performed in truth and uprightness.
You redeem us, Your people;
You ordain Your covenant forever.
Holy and awesome is Your name.
The fear of You is the beginning
of wisdom—let us always fear You.
Give us good understanding
as we do Your commandments.
Your praise endures forever!
We will praise You forever in Your name, Jesus~”
