Psalm 101 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 101.

Meditate on verses 2b-4.

I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.
I will set no worthless thing before my eyes;
I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not fasten its grip on me.
A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil.

What a great set of verses to place on your television and computer screen! What a great set of verses to write on the tablet of your heart, so they will come to your mind at the moment of temptation and keep you from sinning!
Satan wants to destroy you and your loved ones with perverse and worthless things. The LORD wants you and your loved ones devoted to Him and His Word. Declare those verses from Psalm 101 aloud—right now—as a commitment to the LORD, to your family, and to yourself:

“I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.
I will set no worthless thing before my eyes;
I hate the work of those who fall away; it
shall not fasten its grip on me.
A perverse heart shall depart from me;
I will know no evil.”
Pray Psalm 101:1-4 over yourself and those you love as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, I will sing of lovingkindness and justice.
To You, O LORD, I will sing praises.
Make ________ and me give heed to the blameless way.
Come to us, LORD!
 Make us walk within our house in the integrity of our heart.
Let us set no worthless thing before our eyes.
Let us hate the work of those who fall away;
do not let it fasten its grip on us.
Make a perverse heart depart from us;
let us know no evil.
In Your name, Jesus~”
