Meditate on verse 24.
O LORD, how many are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all;
the earth is full of Your possessions.
Psalm 104 is a beautiful creation psalm. It is a good psalm to read when you need to refocus your attention on the LORD instead of yourself and your circumstances. Let the words soak into every fiber of your being, so when you are tempted to forget God, you say instead, “Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great” (v. 1)! Then, step outside and find a cloud; picture God riding it like a chariot (v. 3). And when the wind is blowing so hard it gets on your nerves, imagine Him walking on the wings of that wind (v. 3).
Be amazed at your awesome God who created the heavens and the earth, the moon and the stars, the land and the seas, the plants and the animals, and you—to walk intimately with Him.
With all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, cry out Psalm 104:1-3, 24, and 33-34 to your LORD.
“Bless the LORD, O my soul!
O LORD my God, You are very great!
You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
covering Yourself with light as with a cloak,
stretching out heaven like a tent curtain.
You lay the beams of Your upper chambers in the waters;
You make the clouds Your chariot.
You walk upon the wings of the wind.
O LORD, how many are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all;
the earth is full of Your possessions.
I will sing to You, LORD, as long as I live.
I will sing praise to You, my God,
while I have my being.
Let my meditation be pleasing to You.
As for me, I shall be glad in You, LORD.
In Your name, Jesus~”
