Please read Esther 9.

Meditate on verse 28.
So these days were to be remembered and
celebrated throughout every generation,
every family, every province and every city;
and these days of Purim were not to fail
from among the Jews, or their memory
fade from their descendants.
God miraculously cared for His people, and on the day that all the Jews were to be annihilated, they instead struck their enemies, killing and destroying those who hated them (v. 5). The king even granted the Jews an additional day to rid themselves of their enemies as requested by Queen Esther (vs. 13-16). After the great Jewish victory, Mordecai sent letters to all the provinces telling the people to celebrate the magnificent triumph with two days of joyful feasting (vs. 20-21). And as commanded in your meditation verse, the Feast of Purim* is still celebrated every year, with the two days usually falling in March on the Gregorian calendar, the 14th and 15th of Adar on the Hebrew calendar.
Let the story of Esther, Mordecai, and the Jewish people encourage you to trust God with your impossible situations. Pray Esther 9:1 as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, __________ and my enemies hope
to gain mastery over us.
Please turn it to the contrary so that
we gain the mastery over those who hate us.
For the sake of Your Name and Kingdom, Jesus~”
*This website gives additional information on the Feast of Purim and tells about two modern-day Jewish miracles where the LORD spared his people from those who hated them. Both miracles happened on the Feast of Purim. Incredible! Check it out:
