Esther 8 - Praying God's Word

Please read Esther 8.

Meditate on verses 1b and 3.

Mordecai came before the king, for Esther
had disclosed what he was to her.
Then Esther spoke again to the king, fell
at his feet, wept and implored him to avert the
evil scheme of Haman the Agagite and his
plot which he had devised against the Jews.

Is there someone for whom you are praying that you really want God to answer your prayers? Esther 8 gives you a powerful way to pray for those you love.
In verse one, Esther disclosed what Mordecai was to her. She probably not only told Ahasuerus he was her Jewish cousin but how important Mordecai was to her and how much she loved and cared for him. As you pray for your loved ones, tell God everything about them and what they mean to you.
In verse three, Esther unashamedly fell at the king’s feet, crying and begging him to save Mordecai and all the Jews. Have you ever prayed that way, literally falling at the feet of King Jesus, weeping and crying for those you love, telling Jesus everything you need Him to do for them? This kind of prayer draws you into deeper intimacy with God and brings the miraculous into the lives of those you love (James 5:16).
Pray Esther 8:1, 3, and 16 for those you love as their faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“O LORD my King, I am bringing ____________ before
You and disclosing what they are to me.
I fall at Your feet weeping and imploring You
to avert the evil scheme of the devil
and his plot devised against them.
(Continue to cry out to God on their behalf.)
LORD, as You answer my prayers,
let this be a time of light and gladness
and joy and honor for them.
In Your name, King Jesus~”
