Please read Ecclesiastes 6. Notice Solomon’s questions.

Meditate on verse 1.
There is an evil which I have seen under the sun,
and it is prevalent among men—
Do you every find yourself screaming, “What’s the point, God!?” Solomon was in that futile place.
Let’s see how God would answer some of his questions.
· Do not all go to one place (v. 6)?
And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life,
he was thrown into the lake of fire.
We are of good courage, I say, and
prefer rather to be absent from the body
and to be at home with the LORD.
—Revelation 20:15; 2 Corinthians 5:8
· What advantage does the wise man have over the fool (v. 8)?
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
How blessed is the man who finds wisdom!
—Psalm 14:1a; Proverbs 3:13a
· Who knows what is good for a man during his lifetime, during the few years of his futile life?
He has told you, O man, what is good
and what the LORD requires of you:
to do justice, to love kindness, and
to walk humbly with your God.
—Micah 6:8
Meditating on God’s Word replaces futile thinking. Give all of your Ecclesiastes 6:1 situations to the LORD as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, there is an evil which I have seen under the sun,
and it is prevalent among men—
LORD, I surrender what l have seen to You.
In Your name, Jesus~”
