Please read Ecclesiastes 11.
Meditate on the phrase “You do not know” in verses 2 and 5-6.
You do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth.
You do not know the path of the wind
and how bones are formed in the womb.
You do not know the activity of God who makes all things.
You do not know whether morning or evening sowing will succeed.
It doesn’t matter how intelligent or educated you are, there are many things you do not know and things you are incapable of understanding. “However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries” (Daniel 2:28), and you must choose to trust Him. When you humbly acknowledge you do not know it all and submit yourself to the God who does, you will experience inexplicable freedom and confidence for what to do and when to do it.
Pray Ecclesiastes 11:6 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, help _______ and me to sow our seed in the morning
and not be idle in the evening, for we do not know whether morning or evening
sowing will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good.
But You know, God, and we trust You.
In Your name, Jesus~”
