Please read Acts 12.

Meditate on verse 5.
So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him
was being made fervently by the church to God.
The Holy Spirit is in the middle of every authentic prayer. Note the role of the Holy Spirit when you pray:
In the same way, the Spirit also helps our
weakness; for we do not know
how to pray as we should, but the Spirit
Himself intercedes for us with
groanings too deep for words, and
He who searches the hearts
knows what the mind of the Spirit is,
because He intercedes for the saints
according to the will of God.
—Romans 8:26-27
The Holy Spirit calls you to pray and helps you pray for God’s will. He encouraged the hearts of the church in Jerusalem to pray for Peter (v. 5). Soon Peter was no longer in prison but standing at the gate of the house where they were praying (v. 12). Miraculous! Young Rhoda didn’t let him in because she was so overwhelmed to see him (vs. 13-16)!
Encourage your church to be led by the Holy Spirit and networked in fervent prayer. There are so many media tools to instantly engage people around the world in prayer. The Holy Spirit has networked believers around the world for centuries without texts and the internet, but the LORD inspired that these tools be made and used for good. There is great value in praying together as a church physically and with others electronically.
Pray Acts 12:5 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD God, keep _______ and Your church
and me fervently praying by
the power of Your Spirit.
In Your name, Jesus~”
