Please read Job 31. Job is speaking.

Meditate on verses 2 and 4.
And what is the portion of God from above
or the heritage of the Almighty from on high?
Does He not see my ways and number all my steps?
Job sincerely tried to please God, and he was truly puzzled by the accusations of his friends and his treatment by God and man. His final defense was a list of “Ifs.” “If I had done this, then I deserve this miserable life, but I haven’t!” Thankfully, we have the book of Job because sometimes things happen that make us say, “What did I do to deserve that!?”
Use Job’s words to present your case to the LORD by praying Job 31:2, 4-7, 14, 23-24, 28, and 35 as His faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD God Almighty, what is Your portion for me?
What is Your heritage from on high? Do You not see
my ways and number all my steps? If I have
walked with falsehood and my foot has hastened
after deceit, weigh me with accurate scales and know
my integrity. If my step has turned from the way,
or my heart followed my eyes, or if any spot has
stuck to my hands, then judge me, LORD.
What can I do when You, arise, God? And when
You call me to account, what will I answer You?
Calamity from You is a terror to me, God,
and because of Your majesty I can do nothing.
I have not put my confidence in gold and called
fine gold my trust. I have not denied You, God.
Oh, that I had one to hear me!
Behold, here is my signature; Almighty God, please
answer me! Answer the indictment which
my adversary has written!
In Your name, Jesus~”
