Romans 5 ~ Praying Scripture

Please read Romans 5.

Meditate on verse 6.

For while we were still helpless,

at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly.

Without Christ you are helplessly hopeless.  At the right time, while you were still a sinner, Christ died for you so you could be saved from the wrath of God by the life of Christ.  What an amazing gift He has given you!  In Christ you receive the abundance of God’s grace, the gift of His righteousness, and the privilege of reigning in life through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

Pray for those in your life who have not yet received this free gift from God.  Pray Romans 5:3-5 over yourself and those for whom you are standing guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, help my family to exult in our tribulations,

knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;

and perseverance, proven character;

and proven character, hope;

and hope does not disappoint,

because Your love has been poured out within our hearts

through the Holy Spirit Who was given to us.
