Isaiah 61 ~ Praying Scripture

Please read Isaiah 61.
Meditate on verse 10.

I will rejoice greatly in the LORD.
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation;
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

This is a chapter filled with good news.  The LORD is able to take all of your hopeless situations and turn them into victories: freedom for prisoners; comfort for those who mourn; rising up from former devastations; a double portion replacing shame and humiliation.

God will even call you an oak of righteousness, clothe you with garments of salvation, and wrap you with a robe of righteousness.

What an amazing God you serve!  How amazing it is that He would make an everlasting covenant with you!

Pray Isaiah 61:10 in thanksgiving for what God has done for you.

“I will rejoice greatly in You, LORD.
My soul will exult in You, my God;
for You have clothed me with garments of salvation.
You have wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done for me.”
