Romans 2 ~ Praying Scripture

Please read Romans 2.
Meditate on verse 4.

Do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience,
not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

Do you presume upon the LORD’s kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering patience with you and others?  The LORD is kind to you because He wants you to repent of your stubborn selfishness.

Examine yourself in the light of Romans 2.  Do you obey the truth or do you obey unrighteousness?  Do you boast in God, know His will, correct the foolish, and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the spiritually blind, yet you do not teach yourself; and you actually dishonor God?  Do you take the LORD’s kindness and patience for granted?

The day of God’s wrath is coming for those with a stubborn and unrepentant heart.
Do not take His longsuffering over you lightly.  His patience will one day cease for those who refuse the LORD’s glory, honor, immortality –– His eternal life.

Pray Romans 2:4 - 7 over yourself and those for whom God has appointed you a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD,  may _____________ and I stop taking lightly
the riches of Your kindness, tolerance, and patience.
Your kindness leads us to repentance.
Please draw ________________ to ask for
Your forgiveness and Your eternal life.
 Save them from Your wrath.
Father, please forgive my stubborn and unrepentant heart.
In Your Name, Jesus~”
