Deuteronomy 5 ~ Praying God's Word

Please read Deuteronomy 5.
Meditate on verse 29.

Oh that they had such a heart in them,
that they would fear Me and keep all My commandments always,
that it may be well with them and with their sons forever!

Deuteronomy 5:29 is God Almighty crying for you!  God the Father cries for you to have a heart for Him.  Every thought, word, and command of God is from your heavenly Father who loves you and wants you to know Him intimately.

I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD,
and they will be My people, and I will be their God,
for they will return to Me with their whole heart.
—Jeremiah 24:7

Ask God to search your heart to see if there is any hurtful way in you (Psalm 139:23-24). Repent of the hurtful things He will show you. Ask Him to give you His heart to love, obey, and know Him.
Pray Deuteronomy 5:29 and 32-33 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, give ________ and me a heart to fear You
and keep all Your commandments always,

that it may be well with us and our children forever.
Let us observe to do just as You command;

do not let us turn to the right or to the left.

Let us walk in all the way which you command,
so we may live and it will be well with us.
Prolong our days in the land You have given us.
In Your name, Jesus~”
