Deuteronomy 31 ~ Praying God's Word

Please read Deuteronomy 31.
Meditate on verse 6.

The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you;
He will be with you.
 He will not fail you or forsake you.
 Do not fear or be dismayed.

The Israelites were about to enter the Promised Land, but they would enter without their leader from the past 40 years (Exodus 7:7; Deuteronomy 31:2). Moses was about to die. He would not cross the Jordan River with the Israelites. The LORD would lead Israel into their Promised Land.
God’s Words to Israel nearly 3,500 years ago are His Words to you today. Where are you going? What step are you about to take? Are you scared? Has the person you were depending on been taken out of the picture or perhaps is not as reliable as you had hoped?
The LORD is the One who goes ahead of you in the journey. He is the One who will always be with you.
God wanted the Israelites to depend on Him. The LORD took Moses to the top of Mount Nebo and showed him all the land Israel would possess. Moses died; God buried his body, and no one knows where that burial spot is (Deuteronomy 34:1-6).
The LORD wants you to depend on Him. Choose to trust Him today.
Pray Deuteronomy 31:6 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, help _______ and me be strong and courageous.
Do not let us be afraid or tremble.

LORD, our God, thank You that You go with us
and will not fail us or forsake us.

Because of Your name, Jesus~
