Psalm 1 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 1.

Meditate on verse 6.

For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.

An amazing aspect of being in relationship with Jesus Christ is the intimacy that the Creator of the universe not only allows you to have with Him; intimacy is what He desires you to have with Him. When God talks about knowing you and you knowing Him, He uses the Hebrew and Greek words that are used for intimacy between a husband and wife. If Jesus is your life (Colossians 3:4), He intimately knows your way, the journey you are on, everything about you. Take comfort and joy in knowing these truths as you walk with Him, today.
Pray Psalm 1:1-3 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, do not let ________ and me walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers,

but let our delight be in Your Law,
and let us meditate on it day and night.

Let us be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water
which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither.
In whatever we do, let us prosper.

In Your name, Jesus~”
