Please read Habakkuk 2.

Meditate on verse 2 and 3.
Then the LORD answered me and said,
“Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets,
that the one who reads it may run.
For the vision is yet for the
appointed time;
it hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
for it will certainly come, it will not delay.”
What is the
vision God has given you for those you love? Are you praying for them to be
established in the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)? Do you repeatedly
ask God to give them the characteristics of His wisdom from above (James
3:17-18)? Do you tirelessly pray for the LORD to grow them up in His love (1
Corinthians 13:4-11)?
Write out
the vision God gives you for the people you are guarding with prayer. After you
write it, run with it. Pray it to God everyday, reminding Him of the holiness
that needs to be established in your loved ones. Wait by faith for God to bring
them to the goal of Christlikeness.
Pray
Habakkuk 2:4 and 14 over those for whom you stand guard as a faithful,
prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, ________
is a proud one;
their
soul is not right within them.
Please
make them righteous;
may they
live by faith.
Let them
be filled with the knowledge
of the
glory of You, LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
For Your
name’s sake, Jesus~”
