Hebrews 10 - Praying God's Word

Please read Hebrews 10.

Meditate on verses 19- 23.

Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil,
that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies
washed with pure water.  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Here it is, the pinnacle of Hebrews! Ten chapters demonstrating that Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection are the world’s greatest act of love. They culminate in the most amazing invitation ever offered to a human—draw near, through the veil, into the holy place, to the presence of God. How? With confidence, a sincere heart, and full of faith because HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL!
This invitation is a command. Because of all that Jesus did for you to be righteous before God, you must honor the LORD by coming to Him to love and worship Him.

Pray Hebrews 10:19-23 for yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, give _______ and me confidence to enter the holy place
through this new living way, Your flesh.
Because You are our high priest, let us draw near, with sincere hearts, in full assurance of faith, with hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  Help us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
for You who promised are faithful.
In Your name, Jesus~”
