Luke 9 ~ Praying God's Word

Please read Luke 9.
Meditate on verse 23.

And He was saying to them all,
“If anyone wishes to come after Me,
he must deny himself,
and take up his cross daily
 and follow Me”

In this chapter, Jesus taught what it means to follow Him:
*9:1 — Know that Jesus will give you the power and authority you need to follow Him.
*9:3 — Be willing to leave all your earthly belongings.
*9:20 — Know who you are following – The Christ of God.
*9:23 — Deny yourself, die to yourself daily, and follow Jesus.

*9:57-62 — Follow Jesus with no “buts”—no “buts” about your stuff, your routine, your traditions, or your relationships.

Pray Luke 9:44 and the above verses over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“Lord, let these Words sink into _________ and my ears.
Let us be willing to deny ourselves,
take up our cross daily,
(dying to things, routines, traditions, and what other people might think),
and follow You.
You will give us all the power and authority we need
In Your name, Jesus~”
