Colossians 3 ~ Praying God's Word

Please read Colossians 3.

Meditate on verse 16a.

Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you.

Colossians 3 is rich with verses to pray over your family.  As you learn how to let the Word of Christ live in you, try to memorize a short verse or phrase from the Bible, meditate on it, praying it over yourself and others all day long. For example:  “Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within my family; let the Word of Christ richly dwell within my family…” The more you do this, the more God’s Word will be dwelling within you.  As needs arise, you will already have a verse hidden in your heart that will come to mind to pray immediately over that specific person and situation.

Pray Colossians 3:15-16 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“Let the peace of Christ rule in _________ and my heart. 

Let us be thankful. 

Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within us with all wisdom,

teaching and admonishing one another

with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,

singing with thankfulness in our hearts to You, God.
