Romans 15 ~ Praying Scripture

Please read Romans 15.

Meditate on and memorize verse 13.

NOW MAY THE GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY

AND PEACE IN BELIEVING, SO THAT YOU WILL

ABOUND IN HOPE BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

This is a fun chapter to find treasure verses to pray over your family.  I like verses 5 and 6.  The Greek word that is translated as “one accord” in verse 6 means “passion, to rush along in unison. The image is almost musical; a number of notes are sounded which, while different, harmonize in pitch and tone (Blue Letter Bible).”  What a beautiful picture of a Christ-centered marriage, family, and Church!

Pray Romans 15:5-6, & 13 over your family.

“God, Who gives perseverance and encouragement grant that

my family be of the same mind with one another according

to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with

one voice glorify You, God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ.

Now, God of hope, fill us with all joy and peace in believing,

so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
