Ezekiel 7 - Praying God's Word

Please read Ezekiel 7.  The LORD is speaking.  www.blueletterbible.org/nasb/eze/7/1/s_809001
Meditate on verse 6.

“An end is coming; the end has come!
It has awakened against you; behold, it has come!”

The end of Jerusalem was imminent. The people were told and retold how to please God. They were warned and warned about what displeased Him. He spared them time and time again, yet in their arrogance, they chose  to idolize their abominations and their detestable things over loving and following God (v. 20).
The LORD continues to warn His people today. His message in the New Testament sounds strikingly similar to His message in the Old Testament:

Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.
—Romans 2:4-5

God poured out His wrath on Israel over 2500 years ago.  The day is coming when He will pour out His wrath on the entire earth (Revelation 16:1).

Talk to God about people you know who need to be saved from His wrath.  Start the conversation with Ezekiel 7:4

“LORD, I know a day is coming when Your eye will have no pity on _________, nor will You spare them, but You will bring their ways upon them, and their abominations
will be among them, unless they repent of their abominations.
Please let them come to know that You are the LORD before it is too late.
In Your name, Jesus~”
