Psalm 95 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 95.

Meditate on verses 7b-8a.

Today, if you would hear His voice, do not harden your hearts ...
In a world full of wickedness and evil, it is tempting to be cynical and calloused; however, God exhorts you not to harden your heart. Heed His Words from Psalm 95:8-11:
“I loathed that hard-hearted generation who had seen My work,
yet they tested and tried Me. They erred in their heart
and did not know My ways. Therefore I swore in My anger,
truly they shall not enter into My rest.”

Hear the LORD speaking to you, and accept His invitation to come into His presence with thanksgiving, joyfully singing and shouting to the Rock of your salvation (vs. 1-2). It is the cure for callousness and the antidote to hard-heartedness.
Come, worship, bow down, kneel before the LORD your Maker (v. 6) and praise Him with Psalm 95:3-5 and 7-8 as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, You are a great God and a great King above
all gods,
in whose hand are the depths of the earth.

The peaks of the mountains are Yours also.
The sea is Yours,
for You made it, and Your hands formed the dry land.

You are _________ and my God!

We are the people of Your pasture and the sheep of Your hand.
Today, let us hear Your voice, and do not let us harden our hearts.
For the sake of Your name, Jesus~”
