Please read Psalm 84.

Meditate on verse 1.
How lovely are Your dwelling places, O LORD
of hosts!
Where are
God’s dwelling places?
·
He
dwells in Jerusalem forever (1 Chronicles 23:25).
·
He
dwells in Zion (Psalm 9:11).
·
He
dwells on high (Isaiah 33:5).
·
He
dwells within the temple (Matthew 23:21).
·
He
dwells in unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6:16).
·
The
Spirit of God dwells in you! (Romans 8:9, 11; 1 Corinthians
3:16; 2 Timothy
1:14).
The psalmist longed to be where
God was. Meditate on the fact that if you are a Christian, you are always with
God because He dwells inside of you. And you are lovely because you are His
dwelling place. Live so others will want to be His dwelling place, too.
Pray Psalm 84:2b and 11-12 over yourself and
those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah
62:6-7).
“My heart and my flesh sing for joy to You, the living God!
LORD God, be a sun and shield to __________ and me.
Give us grace and glory;
do not withhold any good thing from us as we walk uprightly.
O LORD of hosts, bless us as we trust in You!
In Your name, Jesus~”
