Psalm 16 - Praying God's Word

Please read Psalm 16.

Meditate on verse 8.

I have set the LORD continually before me;
 because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Life can be hard. It is easy to be shaken by circumstances, struggles, and trials and lose sight of God who is sovereign. He is the only One who has supreme power and authority.
Refocus! Fix your eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2). Turn your eyes away from other things and place them definitely and permanently on Christ.
Pray Psalm 16:1-2 and 5-11 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“Preserve _________ and me, O God.
Let us take refuge in You.
LORD, You are our Lord;
we have no good besides You.

You are the portion of our inheritance and our cup;
You support our lot.
 Let the lines fall to us in pleasant places.
Let our heritage be beautiful. I bless You, LORD.
Please counsel ________ and me. Instruct our minds in the night.
Let us set You continually before us;
because You are at our right hand, do not allow us to be shaken.

May our hearts be glad and our glory rejoice.

Let our flesh also dwell securely,
for You will not abandon our souls to Sheol.

Make known to us the path of life.

In Your presence is fullness of joy;
in Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

In Your name, Jesus~”
