Please read Galatians 6.
Meditate on verse 3.
For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing,
he deceives himself.
Some people
in the Galatian churches were proud when they compelled Gentile believers to be
circumcised or keep other parts of the Law. They desired to be influential even
if it meant influencing others into the slavery that was life apart from
Christ.
What do you
take pride in, and do you use your influence to feed your pride? Do you
influence people to even join you in sin to justify your behavior?
Paul was
proud of the cross of Christ. All that mattered was being a new creation as a
result of what Christ did on that cross (Galatians 6:14-15). Paul used his
influence to establish others in that truth.
Pray
Galatians 6:14 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful,
prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“Jesus
Christ, through Your cross,
let
________ and me be crucified to the world and the world to us.
May we
boast only in You and Your cross.
For the
sake of Your name, LORD Jesus Christ~”

on the WALL ~ Dr. Ron and Marsha Harvell
