Please read Isaiah 49.
Meditate on verses 23b and 26b.
And you will know that I am the LORD;
Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame.
And all flesh will know that I the LORD, am your Savior
and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
Through the
prophet Isaiah, God told the future of Israel. Isaiah 49 is a good news chapter
for this beloved nation of His. At different times in history, Israel thought
God forgot her, but God promised never to forget Israel (Isaiah 49:15).
If you are a
child of God, the LORD never forgets you either. You have the promises of
Israel because in Christ, you have been grafted into this relationship with Him
(Romans 11). God saved you and redeemed you for His renown and glory, so all
flesh will know He is the LORD. In all your ways acknowledge Him (Proverbs
3:6). He loves it when you choose to recognize Him.
Pray Isaiah
49:1-2 and 5 over those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful
watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, You called ____________ from the womb.
From the body of their mother You named them.
Make their mouth like a sharp sword.
In the shadow of Your hand conceal them.
Make them a select arrow; hide them in Your quiver.
LORD, You have formed them from the womb to be Your servant.
God, be their strength.
In Your name, Jesus~”
