Isaiah 52 - Praying God's Word

Please read Isaiah 52.

Meditate on verse 8.

Listen!  Your watchmen lift up their voices;
they shout joyfully together,
for they will see with their own eyes
 when the LORD restores Zion.

Answered prayer is cause for rejoicing. God told about a future time when watchmen for Israel will rejoice because of Israel’s restoration. God promised comfort, redemption, and salvation for His people. Because of Jesus Christ, these promises are for you and those for whom you are a watchman. Your comfort is abundant through Christ (2 Corinthians 1:3). You have redemption through the blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7). And there is salvation in no other name except Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).
Keep praying for those God needs to restore. The rejoicing will be worth the time you spend faithfully watching over them in prayer.
Pray Isaiah 52:7 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
 “LORD, make the feet of ________ and me
lovely on the mountains.
Let us bring good news.
May we announce peace and salvation
 and bring good news of happiness.
Let us say to Zion and the rest of the world,
‘Our God reigns!’
Because of Your name, Jesus~”
