Please read Isaiah 41.

Meditate on verse 10.
Do not fear,
for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you,
for I am your God.
Isaiah has 66 chapters like there are 66 books in the Bible. The fortieth chapter of Isaiah begins with these words, “‘Comfort, O comfort My people,’ says your God.”
The fortieth book of the Bible is Matthew. Matthew begins with these words, “The record of the genealogy of Jesus, the Messiah.”
The remainder of Isaiah talks about the coming salvation of the LORD. The LORD promised the Messiah would come in Isaiah. God keeps His Word.
Isaiah 41:10-13 contains more promises from God. Pray these verses over a situation where you or someone you stand guard for as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7) needs the LORD’s help.
“LORD, I believe You when You tell me these words:
‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,
surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Behold all those who are angered at you
will be shamed and dishonored;
those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish.
You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them.
Those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent.
For I am the LORD your God who upholds your right hand,
who says to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.”’
Thank You, Father, in the name of Jesus~”
Author’s Note (from Marsha): I prayed these verses everyday when my husband was in Iraq. They brought me much comfort, and God was faithful to bring them to pass.
