Romans 15 - Praying God's Word

Please read Romans 15.
Meditate on verse 13.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Paul prayed for the believers at Rome to be of the same mind with one another, so with one accord and one voice they could glorify God (Romans 15:5-6). One accord means having the same passion, running together in unison. It is also a musical picture of different notes harmonizing with each other.
Does your family and church have the same passion for Jesus Christ? Are you running together the race God has set before you (Hebrews 12:1)? Do you harmonize with each other in order to glorify God?
Pray Romans 15:5-6 and 13 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“God, who gives perseverance and encouragement,

please grant that __________ and I be of the same mind
with one another according to Christ Jesus,

so that with one accord we may with one voice
glorify You,
God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ.
Now, God of hope, fill us with all joy and peace in believing,
so that we will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
In Your name, Jesus~”
